Our stay at the hotel didn't meet expectations. We had issues with our reservation and found the staff to be unwelcoming. While the hotel does have a nice pool area and extensive grounds, the lack of nearby restaurants and shops was disappointing. The hotel restaurant closed early, making it difficult to find meals without heading into Guanajuato, where the hotel offers a shuttle. The room we had was dark and lacked any view, which was a letdown.
